- A key issued against your account number.

How the key works
A key is issued for your MetaTrader account number and works on that account and no other. One licence covers up to three account numbers at a time, sharing a single expiry date.
Changing broker costs nothing: ask for a reissue and the new key carries the same expiry date, not a fresh term and not a shorter one.
If it never trades, you are not charged for it
The market filter can hold this system out for months. If your term ends without a single trade having opened, the term renews itself free of charge — and keeps doing so until you have actually had trades. The one condition is that the EA was running during the term.
